1.Q Tell me about the first time you remember being thrilled.
1.A As a passenger inside the car as a kid, my dad would take turns at higher rates of speed then normal, or do some emergency brake slides in the wintertime - in empty parking lots.
 
2.Q What’s the slightest thing to have thrilled you?
2.A Mountain biking
 
3.Q What’s the most frightening yet thrilling thing you’ve done?
3.A White water rafting for the first time
 
4.Q Tell me why you’re not completely sensible.
4.A Because my life is pretty much boring, so I need to get some kicks somewhere
 
5.Q What’s the most uninhibited thing you’ve ever done?
5.A Hitting on close friends while completely drunk
 
6.Q What have you considered doing for pleasure but were too concerned about the risks?
6.A Driving as fast as a Volvo 960 can go

7.A Going very fast in a car
 
8.Q Tell me a bit about yourself around this time.
8.A 18, no job, money running low, summer, last few weeks of seeing my friends, had to be happy
 
9.Q List the sequence of events leading up to your thrill. Try to remember how you felt at each stage. The smallest detail could be important (this is your chance to expand).
9.A I was bored, friends were bored, we loved going for drives, we hit up the usual route, I stopped for gas, filled up with some 94 Octane. On an open stretch I asked if I should see how fast the car would go, everyone said hell yes. Got a 91' Golf up to 192kph, we were all high on adreniline after that drive :-)
 
10.Q What were your thoughts and feelings at the precise moment of thrill?
10.A This is incredible, pure control - one with the machine type synergy, adrenilyn, confidence, satisfaction
 
11.Q What did you do afterwards?
11.A Cruised around Toronto for a while, at sane speeds
 
12.Q What were the risks?
12.A Getting caugh, driving 15 or so kph over the tires speed rating, risk of death or injury in an impact at such speeds
 
13.Q What did you imagine other people thought of you during and after the event?
13.A My friends thought it was great, they knew the risks, and I made sure they were willing to take them, other motorists may have been slightly phased
 
14.Q How often do you think about the event, and why?
14.A Once or twice a week, it was pure bliss for that small moment
 
15.Q Some people probably don’t understand how such a thing can thrill you; explain it to them.
15.A It's just a feeling of pure enjoyment, you have no worries, nothing is stopping you, it is the only point were you are totally at ease and free
 
16.Q What three changes could have made the experience better, and why?
16.A Faster car, Sex afterwards, Being able to relive the moment later on
