9.A

It's a small ranch near the sea, in the Atlantic forest of Brasil. There is a small waterfall there. It's my first time there. Late at night, after a pizza, my brother in law said "Let me introduce you to the waterfall". There's no light around. Only these insects with light (I don't know the name in English, sorry), and we walk through the trees and the sound of the water getting louder. We get to some huge rocks and there it is: the waterfall. I can't see it, but it's there. My brother in law said: 4 steps to your right, 2 meters below you have a natural pool. You can dive in your head, it's 3 meters depth.

I said: Are you sure, my life is in your hands. He confirmed and I jumped. For 1⁄2 a second the waterfall stopped to roar, my mind was fool, the blood was hot and then I dived in the most incredible coldest amazing water.

10.Q What were your thoughts and feelings at the precise moment of thrill?
10.A Wow.....Afraid, hot, Cold, Happy, confident

11.Q What did you do afterwards?
11.A Scream out loud, laughed and feel a survivor

12.A A lot. Dying included

13.A What a jerk. He could be dead.

14.Q How often do you think about the event, and why?
14.A Every time someone talk about diving in water falls or about thrilling things

15.Q Some people probably don’t understand how such a thing can thrill you; explain it to them.
15.A We have problems to walk in the dark, always with the hand ahead trying to avoid obstacles. What about run in the dark with someone else driving you with the voice " to the right , to the left, run....".

16.Q What three changes could have made the experience better, and why?
16.A It could be higher so this 1⁄2 a second could take longer. It could have some small light at the bottom, just to see the things under the water. It could happen again.

  FINALLY...
Is there anything you want to add?
In the way back, the insects were much more brilliant.......
